Pasquale Culotta, architect of churches, plays a leading role in this essay. This choice is pertinent to the theme of the conference on urban renewal, and allows recognizing some peculiar aspects of Culotta design activity, the largest part of which was carried out with Giuseppe (Bibi) Leone, who recently passed away.
